The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced on Sunday that right-hander Vladimir Veras has been assigned to the Orem Owlz of the Pioneer League and that left-hander Blake Holler has been activated from the Owlz roster. | |||

Vladimir Veras appeared in 3 games for the Kernels posting an 0-2 record and 8.18 ERA. In 11 innings, he allowed 15 hits and 10 runs (all earned) with seven walks and eight strikeouts. Blake Holler was assigned to the Orem roster back on June 13 and rejoins the Kernels with a 1-3 record and 4.17 ERA in 11 games with five starts. In 36.2 innings, he has allowed 46 hits, 27 runs (17 earned) with seven walks and 36 strikeouts. |
