Conger, Mount activated; Two promoted

TheLos Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced that catcher Greg Dini and infielder Josh Davies have been promoted to Rancho Cucamonga of the California League and that catcher Hank Conger and infielder Ryan Mount have been activated from the disabled list.

Dini joined the Kernels on July 18 from Rancho Cucamonga and in five games posted a .211 BA (4-19) with three RBI.

Davies played in 30 games and posted a .194 average (20-103) with five doubles and five RBI. He played with the Kernels from April 16 to May 19; was assigned to Rancho Cucamonga and then reassigned to Cedar Rapids on June 16.

Conger was placed on the DL on June 23 with lower back spasms. He was batting .282 in 61 games, with eight HR and 33 RBI and was selected to the MWL Western Division All-Star team, but did not play.

Mount was placed on the DL on June 25 with a strained right quad. He was batting .277 in 52 games, with two home runs, 18 RBI and 13 stolen bases in 17 attempts.
