FutureHalos.com is back on the active list and we've got a lot of great stuff
planned. Watch for new features, player interviews and scouting reports on the
best and the brightest from the Angels minor league system.
We're starting off with a review of the top ten prospects in the
organization, starting at number ten and working our way up the list. We'll give
you a brief scouting report and a look back at how each of the prospects
produced in 2008 and a glimpse into what we expect from them in 2009. From
there, we'll take a look at other prospects in the organization, including some
of the new faces that have signed on and we'll follow some of the players that
went elsewhere to see just how much of a loss it was for the Angels
organization.
We'll give some thought as to where each of the Angels prospects will wind up
when the minor league rosters are put together and talk about who might crack
the major league roster at some point during the season.
And when the games begin, we'll have info on each of the teams and follow
who's hot and who's not at every level of the minors. Plus, there's the draft in
June, leading into the short-season leagues, which we'll also follow. In early
July, there's the international signing date and we'll take a look at who the
Angels may be able to find from outside the states.
And of course, once the off-season begins, FutureHalos.com will be there to
take a look at the potential moves that could impact the Angels organization.
And yes, we'll throw in some news and notes about the big league club along the
way, but the focus will be on the Future Halos.
