| The younger brother of Dodgers' prospect Willy Aybar, Erick has consistently hit since signing with the Angels as a free agent in 2002. The speedy switch-hitter brings a career .316 average and .823 OPS with him to Triple-A 2006.
Although not a homer threat, he has posted more than 40 extra-base hits a year in full-season ball. While he has plus speed, Aybar has been thrown out in more than a third of his career stolen base attempts. |
