| Biography: |
| Originally an eighth-round selection of the Expos in 2000, Seibel spent the last three seasons in the Red Sox organization. After missing all of the 2005 campaign following "Tommy John" surgery, Seibel returned and spent time at three levels, including Triple-A in 2006, posting a combined 1.24 ERA. Although he has started throughout his minor league career, his best opportunity to reach the big leagues is as a lefty reliever, a position he will likely be groomed for in Salt Lake in 2007. |
