| In his first full season of professional baseball, Coon swiped a league-high 55 bases in 124 games for Cedar Rapids. The ultra-athletic Coon also showed a good eye at the plate, drawing 75 walks. Although he started slowly, Coon hit 296 after the first of June. He will likely move one level at a time, but his ability in center field and ability to lead off could help him excel in the Angels organization. |
